Hydraulic Tank Filler Breather
We stock a range of filler breathers for hydraulic tanks and breather caps. Contact us for more information.
In open-circuit hydraulic systems, air moves freely into and out of the reservoir as the fluid level falls and rises. Unfiltered air can carry a variety of foreign materials—e.g., dust, dirt, and debris—all of which can contaminate the process fluids within a hydraulic system. If left unchecked, these contaminants can damage system components or reduce system efficiency. Hydraulic breather filters remove solid particulates from incoming air to ensure the hydraulic system continues to perform as intended for the duration of its expected service life.
As indicated above, air breathers play a critical role in hydraulic systems. For this reason, it is important to maintain them properly to ensure they continue to fulfill their purpose effectively and efficiently. Proper maintenance for air breather filters involves regularly changing out the filter element. Failure to do so can lead to clogging, which, over time, can lead to the formation of a partial vacuum within the reservoir. This vacuum, in turn, can cause cavitation, which often leads to premature pump failure if left unchecked.
Oil Test Kit
Parker’s oil test kit range provides a complete set of economically priced equipment, with a level of accuracy suited to routine analysis. Oil test kits provide you with a condition monitoring tool enabling you to make informed operational and maintenance decisions about your critical plant and equipment. The ability to test on-site at the point of use enables engineers and facilities managers to conduct oil analysis quickly and easily. Detecting out-of-spec fuels and lubricants can identify potential problems, before becoming critical. Choose from a range of equipment and parameters to use either individually, or combined as a single test kit.
Supplied ready for use, with simple hand-held units to systems in heavy duty aluminium or durable ABS cases, Parker Kittiwake’s multiparameter test kits contain all of the necessary equipment and consumables for your oil condition monitoring needs. – Fast, accurate results for multiple oil parameters, in an easy to use, portable kit – Make informed on-site maintenance decisions – Act before the onset of critical failure – Robust and reliable for use in harsh or remote environment. Maintain and protect your equipment, whilst eliminating damage caused by water in your oil. Prevent corrosion, cavitation or failure of your machinery by detecting water in oil, before any damage occurs – Minimize instability of additive packages and damaging microbe growth by monitoring your oil – Fully portable for use on-board or in the field, test kits are extremely robust, durable and easy to use. Measure your oil’s alkaline reserve and ability to neutralize acids from combustion. Avoid fouling within the engine and corrosion of engine components by monitoring the Base Number (BN) of your lubricating oils – Simple, economical monitoring of lubricants
Return Line Filter
The Parker GLF Series Low Pressure Tank Top Return Line Hydraulic Oil Filter delivers efficient contamination control for hydraulic circuits required to operate in highly demanding environments. The filter is ideally suited for applications where high system reliability and minimal downtime are critical, including heavy equipment and machinery used in mining, construction, marine, forestry, material handling and agricultural operations. These filters are suitable for flow rates between 80 L/M up to 1700 L/M & have 2, 5, 10 & 20 micron elements available.
The GLF Series Return Line Filter’s unique inside-to-outside flow path minimizes contaminant exposure to the reservoir during element change-out. Other notable features include pressure gauge and switch ports for visual or electrical switch monitoring, which makes it easy for operators to determine when the element needs to be serviced. Additionally, the filter features a versatile two-port design for enhanced installation flexibility.
Hydraulic Tank Gauge
The sight gauge or hydraulic tank level gauge monitors the fluid levels in the tank. Hydraulic tank level indicator/temperature gauges are available in 3 sizes each with 2-hole mounting at 76mm, 127mm and 254mm mounting centres. The high visibility viewing lens is a one-piece design for added security, moulded in shatterproof, transparent polyamide.
The universal fixing is designed for either front or rear fixing. Just two holes in the tank – threaded for front fixing – and the gauge is ready to install. There is no fear of leakage with the square section seals and the two-point mounting system eliminates problems with tank distortion. M10 and M12 bolt thread options are available. The high-visibility lens is one-piece for added security and moulded in shatterproof, transparent polyamide for an accurate and clear oil level and temperature indication. Further gauge protection is provided by a specially designed shroud moulded in high-impact, black polystyrene.
