IHS were commissioned for a 15kw Marine power pack to be placed into a barge for use on the inland waterways. The powerpack had to fit in a very tight space, therefore Solidworks 3D CAD was utilised to ensure a “right first time” solution was created. Powered by a diesel engine and danfoss motor. IHS have been asked to do a batch of these powerpacks after our client was impressed with our first two.
